18. Consequences of not reporting an increase in risk
Should a claim occur when an increase in risk has not been reported, the insurer shall be released of its obligation to provide benefits if the policyholder or insured has acted in bad faith.
Otherwise, the benefits provided by the insurer will be reduced proportionally in accordance with the difference between the agreed premium and that which would have been applied had the true magnitude of the risk been known.
