Replacement vehicle in the event of vehicle fire
Description of the cover
If the insured vehicle is rendered immobile as a result of fire damage that makes it impossible to move the vehicle and prevents it from being driven without assistance, and should it be necessary to immobilise the vehicle for more than 24 hours to make the requisite repairs (estimated time at an authorised repair shop) the insurer will provide the insured with a Class C or similar rental vehicle (as per the classification of the largest rental companies operating on the Spanish market).
Said vehicle will become effective as of 72 hours after the occurrence of the claim and the rental vehicle will be made available for up to a maximum limit of 45 consecutive calendar days.

5. Theft of the insured vehicle
Exclusions:
- Vehicle immobilisations due to mechanical malfunctions are excluded from this cover.
- Accidents occurring when participating in official or private sport competitions, training sessions, trials or wagers are excluded from this cover.
- The vehicle may not be driven beyond the limits of the country where the accident occurs
- This benefit is subject to the availability of vehicle rental companies and the conditions for rental that they apply
- At all times, petrol expenses will be for the account of the insured
THE FOLLOWING IS NOT COVERED:
a. Damage caused to the vehicle by transported objects or the loading or unloading of same, as well as by any trailers it may have in tow
b. Damage caused by seismic, atmospheric or thermal phenomena, except for lightning
c. Damage affecting tyres, except where the insured vehicle sustains other material damage as well
d. Damage affecting accessories, except where the accessories are expressly listed in the policy schedule.
e. The cost of transporting the vehicle when it has been damaged by an accident, except where this cover has been taken out, as per the terms, specifically, of Article 11 (Roadside assistance) and Article 24, Section E (Claims-Roadside assistance) below.
f. Any depreciation of the vehicle as a result of its repair following a claim.
g. Damage to professional items or tools transported in the vehicle.
h. Damage affecting guaranteed luggage and personal items transported in the vehicle in excess of 500 euros per claim.
